ROPSTOP SB

EBA, s.r.o. is the owner of a biotechnology Ropstop SB. ROPSTOP SB has been approved by the Health Ministry of Slovak republic - Chief Public Health Officer of SR. According to Annex no. 3 to Act no. 223/2001 Col., Ropstop SB is D2 activity - treatment by soil processes.

Ropstop SB - the inoculant used for decontamination of soils, sludge, absorbents, grits, gravels and further solid and liquid wastes.

Mixture of microbes decomposing all fractions of oil hydrocarbons into the values representing the most rigorous criteria for the protection of environment is a degrading element of above technology. The mixture of effective microbes has been selected from natural environment, it has not been genetically manipulated and sanitary tests do not show any toxic or pathogenic effects on a living organism.

Application of technology

A certain process of reconstruction is selected with reference to the range and depth of contamination. The required sanitization method is chosen according to the extent and intensity of contamination. Sanitization work can be applied directly on site where the pollution took place or at the special decontamination areas of the company's plants.

Following the level of contamination, type of contaminated material and its characteristics and future use, our experts select the most appropriate and fastest elimination of contaminates. After setting perfect conditions for microbes, the accompanying analyses monitor the drop of contaminates up to the level set by the regulations protecting water and environment.

Operation of technology

In addition to the positive influence at environment, Ropstop SB technology shows high degrading power even in extreme climatic conditions. There are proofs that degrading processes occur under 50°C and even in colder conditions of down to -10°C. If required by a customer, above technology can decompose carbon chains down to 200 mg/kg that represents the level deeply under the required contamination level not showing the signs of hazardous waste.

Our method is the most cost-saving and environment-friendly method of all existing methods (thermic and chemical).

Even under extreme climatic conditions, biodegrading process lasts from 3 to 12 months depending on contamination level.

After the completion of decontamination, we draw up a final report on perfect status of decontaminated material that can be used for original purpose.

Application

This technology can be applied to a broad spectrum of situations with a highly efficient treatment preparation. We apply it in practice with excellent results in the sanitization of soils, sediments and other materials at airports, railway facilities, petrochemical plants, steelworks, military objects, fuel storage facilities, filing stations, water lines, reservoirs, and anywhere where an effective solution is required regarding the degradation of all fractions of hydrocarbons arising from oil.
